Sectorial background papers were developed, covering Labor Market and Employment, Poverty, Housing, Education, Health, Social Urban Development, Local Development, and Social Protection Floor. At the local level of Palestinian Gatherings, interventions benefited 47,000 refugees in relation to upgraded basic urban services and 12,000 refugees in relation to safer electricity networks and rehabilitated road networks. 12,750 hygiene and baby kits were distributed to vulnerable Palestinian refugees from Syria and awareness raising campaigns benefited 5,000 refugees. Collaboration was initiated between Kharayeb municipality and the four gatherings within its domain on recycling, engaging 12,500 individuals and developing a WASH-friendly School Toolkit.
