We are pleased to invite you to the launch conference of the 3rd edition of the World Observatory on Subnational Government Finance and Investment (SNG-WOFI), jointly hosted by the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SME’s Regions and Cities (CFE) and United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG). The conference will take place on 24 October 2022 in Paris at the OECD headquarters.
The SNG-WOFI aims to increase knowledge and promote dialogue on multi-level governance and subnational finance, by collecting and analysing standardised quantitative and qualitative information on more than 130 countries across the globe.
The conference will gather partners and stakeholders from various world regions involved in this wide-ranging project, to present key findings from the new edition and to discuss current challenges related to multi-level governance and subnational finance, in light of new data and analysis. Panel discussions will focus on financial resilience to crises, unlocking property tax revenue and enhancing subnational access to external resources to finance investment.
We hope you will join us! For further information, please visit the SNG-WOFI website. Please pre-register, and you will receive a detailed and updated agenda in the coming weeks. Below is an outline of the preliminary agenda.
