The International Summit of Innovation and Public Excellence is a cooperative training event that promotes the Deputation of Ourense, the George Washington University and the International Institute of Marketing and Communication, and the Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities and Municipal Associations so that it can serve as a guide to territories and governments whose objective is to improve the life of their communities. An opportunity to promote the exchange of knowledge and innovative experiences at the local level and promote effective management among mayors and councilors from different countries based on quality, accessibility, and innovation as the main values of public excellence.
This experiential meeting, face-to-face in Ourense and online for all of Ibero-America, will bring together renowned international professionals in order to serve as a platform for the Summit to become an international meeting place and reference in the areas of good governance, communication, leadership, territorial brand, and public innovation.
To achieve this goal, the pooling of peer public management is a powerful tool for governments to establish, direct, and implement a strategic vision that prioritizes policies aimed at people, and also allows the development of instruments for providing high-quality public services provided to citizens.
With this main objective, the International Summit on Innovation and Public Excellence was born as a forum for real public policies where leaders from around the world can share successful efforts and learn about others that can be effectively implemented in their territories.
