Implementation of INDC assessed mitigation actions required at the sub-sector levels (i.e. energy or industrial sectors) and how that would eventually lead up to the aggregated level of 45% greenhouse gas emission reduction as stated in the Paris Agreement. In addressing national and sub-national development level, the Iskandar Malaysia Urban Observatory project (IMUO) looked into the achievement of the SDGs which can be piloted at the sub-national level.
