Generation17, a Samsung initiative in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aims to harness technology to elevate the voices of young leaders, who are working to achieve the Global Goals. Established by the United Nations in 2015, the Global Goals - or the Sustainable Development Goals - provide a framework to address pressing global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change and peace and justice, and build a better future for all by 2030.

With support from the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under its “Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities (LIUPC)” project is mitigating these issues. LIUPC is ensuring sexual and reproductive health rights for women, and issues relating to gender-based violence are addressed, across 12 city corporations and 24 municipalities in Bangladesh.
